I've compiled some video from across the internets for your viewing pleasure. You can choose from video of Roving Soul, the John Funkhouser Trio, The Phil Sargent Quartet, The Nick Grondin group live at the Regattabar, or The Rex Complex. Or simply click here to see my videos on Youtube.

Roving Soul:

Our interpretation of a beautiful Polish folk song:

Jerry's composition inspired by Balkan folk music and titled after the home of Pablo Neruda; it's in 19/8 time which is subdivided 2-2-3-3-2-2-3-2 in case you want to dance along:

And here's an actual Balkan folk tune for sake of comparison:

John Funkhouser Trio:

John's funky tribute to Bilbo Baggins, or maybe Finnegan's Wake. The bass solo starts at the beginning of the 2nd video.

And here's John's tune in 35/8 (at least the melody; the solo's in good ol' 5/8); John's playing a part in 5 with one hand, a part in 7 with the other, and I'm playing a part in 6 (with one 8th note cut off the end). Umm... yeah...

Phil Sargent Quartet

Phil's lovely tune Kelita, written for his lovely wife (aww...)

Nick Grondin Group

Our show at the Regattabar; Nick writes beautiful, award winning long form compositions such as this.

The Rex Complex

Here we are at Toad, playing our traditional last song of the evening "Dirty Eyeballs"; after the first 20 seconds or so, it's different every time, but somehow never less weird (in a beautiful way)...

And some video from the last night of our years long Wed. night residency at Precinct in Union Sq. Somerville.
